Thanks to the new regulations in place thanks to Obama Care, we were priced out this week. So much for the lie that, "You can keep your current plan." Our company dropped our old plan b/c it became so expensive when the new rules went in, and the new plan is awful and costs so much more than our old, we're uninsured as of Jan. 1st. We shopped around, but because of the changes, the only plans that we could afford where ones with deductables so high that we might as well be uninsured. Now we are going to take what we were paying and put it into savings to go face-to-face to doctors when we need to. We need the government and the insurance out of our lives. If people want to buy health insurance, it should work like the car where you still deal and make the payment yourself, and are paid back or they send a check to you.

Government regulations are ruining this country.

These new nationalized standards may be the first step in the complete take-over by Obama of American education.

Nice to know they set such a good parenting example. What parent would take an under 13-year-old to a PG13 movie without having viewed it themselves? My children, under 13, have seen some PG 13 movies, but only ones I have seen myself. There is a reason for the rating, and that is to warn parents. Sets an example to kids that the ratings mean nothing. And I don't want to hear that someone else saw it first and told the Obama's it was fine. There is no replacement for a parent's judgment. Nice parenting, first family.

The Crisis Part II...An Open Letter to Barak Obama

Sir, you have had phenomenal political success, given the fact that you have virtually no experience or leadership skill, but you must learn that the repetition of a lie does not morph it into a truth. Adolf Hitler’s government attempted this. To the German people, he promised a thousand-year reign of prosperity and dominance. He wrote that in Mein Kampf in 1924. His power came to an end in 1945, when, by the end of his rule, Germany was desolate and beaten.

Way to go Sanford! Announce to the world that you don't really love your wife, but your mistress...but you'll stay. She must be thrilled. What a catch you are.

Also, Sanford makes news in the obesity debate:

"In the Trust for America’s Health study, the most obese state in the country is Mississippi, followed by Alabama, West Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina, answering the question of why Mark Sanford had to fly all the way to Argentina to sow his oats."

While the nation’s outrage against swindler Bernie Madoff translates into the maximum sentence, the Government, perpetrators of a much larger fraud, continue their financial reign of terror unchecked.

Welcome to the show, Barack. After waiting weeks to make any sort of statement about the violence in Iran, Obama quickly comes out swinging for his Marxist comrade, ousted Honduran president Manuel Zelaya.

Obama says he can guarantee Americans won't have to change their insurance providers. At the same time, he says that some employers will choose a government plan, which means some Americans will have to change their providers. The whole purpose of this plan is to do away with private insurance. The government wants to control everything in our lives. The Constitution does not guarantee health care, we don't have a right to it. It is something we enjoy and by making it a "right" they are going to destroy what Americans now have. Sure, there are 57 million in American with no insurance. Not Americans, but in America. Half of those are here illegally, they are criminals. Over 10 million can afford it and choose not to get it. We are talking about totally throwing out our system for 8 million people? Give them a voucher, start tort reform (oh the horror for the lawyers in Congress!) and solve the problem without destroying our system. As Herman Cain says, there is no need to destroy the building to fix the leak in the roof.

Republicans should be thrilled. As a Conservative, I am thrilled to see him leave the Republican party. We need "men of principle and not men of expedience. He is a man of expedience who has no principles.

The time for the utmost precaution was over the weekend when he was busy playing golf. And precaution does now good while illegals continue to flood unchecked into this country. Now they come with the flu, probably seeking treatment since the treatment in Mexico is so awful.
