Uh-oh. The Chavez "copy-cat" guy (he lives in our WH) is always steps behind his hero. Today, he's going to tax banks that had no part in the financial mess, the ones who had the TARP money FORCED on them, and the ones he wouldn't let pay it back. A TAX to keep the revolving credit line of TARP -not just the initial $700 BN- the REVOLVING credit line of TARP- going. An extorition tax to keeping these banks open under the heavy-handed rules of the dictator in the WH but under the surface, a Chavez-like move that, in actuality, NATIONALIZES the big banks.

With BO's Chavez hero worship, he will have to address our failing grid and lack of energy sources soon as well. I am sure he will model his "solution" on that of his Venezuelan Marxist buddy.

If Mr. & Mrs. Haskell are lying, then HOW did the underwear bomber get through security and get on the plane WITHOUT A PASSPORT?

Are people lying about the Indian man wearing orange, also?

We no longer trust ANY government, especially our own, to tell us the truth. The only thing we can't figure out is WHY they are lying about this terrorist attack and plot.

Yes, but Joe is completely inept and has no "star" appeal. He would be a dead duck in the water and could not get anything done. Not getting anything done would be a big help to most of us!

Yes, but it takes a tortored mind and a complete lack of common sense to regard a drawing of a crucifix in a mostly Catholic enclave of the United States as something worthy of scorn and pyschological examination. Maybe if the teachers who HAD common sense would push back against an insane system just a little now and then, this insanity of political correctness and persecution of Chrsitianity would cease. Compliance with evil cannot fail to taint you, Rufus. This child was wrongly treated, and for a teacher to have condemned this young child for this, they are NO teacher.

The tortored image of Christ reminds us that Christ suffered and died for our sins. It is not an image so much, to Christians, of suffering and death, but the image of sins forgiven and resurrection from earthly strife and death. Our Lord is risen, and so will we be. You would have to be a Christian to understand that the image represents what is sweet, and is not meant to dwell on the violent act..

Whatever images belong specifically to any particular religion do not have to please the secular eye. MANY secular images are quite offensive to people of religion. It is pretty strange that, in Mass., a once-predominantly Catholic enclave, a child's picture of a Crucifix is considered worthy of psychological examination.

Bernanke is simply worried that, should the Congress actually begin to fear the rising anger of Americans angry at the Fed for its contribution to our economic collapse, the central bank will have to stop loaning tons of money to European and other central banks around the world. That would put some brakes on the world financial cabal.

Bernanke is a criminal, pure and simple, and he is trying the oldest trick in the book, "No, Mom, no need to look in the cookie jar. I didn't take any cookies. Honest."

No thank you, Mr. Obama. I do NOT wish the muslims of the world "Happy Eid", as I am certain they do not wish Christians and Jews "Merry Christmas" or Happy Hannukkah".

"Shared religious traditions" phooey! Islam is a made up religion- and a hostile one that seeks to drive out or put to death believers of other faiths. It is NOT the shared religion of the Jew and the Gentile.

Did Mr. Obama even mention Thanksgiving today? All I heard was a useless platitude about being thankful for family -not being thankful to GOD.
