Awesome - I was right on target with 2 people.

@TOPolk: I agree with you on several things. Yes, Twitter is amazing at breaking real time news. I tend to see things on Facebook days after it's relevant. However, I think there's a reason people spend so much time on Facebook - it's doing things right that Twitter can't. For example, filtering content. On Twitter, you have to either set up a 3rd party application to manage your lists or use the web version - in which case you only see one list at a time. In Facebook, your most contacted friends are the ones you're more likely to see. With the new designs, multiple comments are combined, meaning more information is shown. Overall, it's much easier to hide certain friends, or, if you wish, create Twitter-like groups.

Twitter is a great tool if you can do it right. I guess my frustration is that it does take work to get it that way, and more and more people are filling it with nonsense and fake accounts. Facebook has made changes in the past 2 years to move towards a live stream of updates. I predict they become much more relevant for real time news and incorporate many more Twitter-like features.

@Jimmy: @guykawasaki. haha but yeah, i agree

If you are trying to backup your music from your damaged iPod, you will need a removable drive or your computers hard drive. Yes, your iPod is a hard drive, but you need to move music off of this.

If your library has all of your songs, make sure they are playable. If so, there's no reason to get your music from your device - just restore and replace all songs.

Do not copy from iTunes. Open a Windows Explorer window, navigate to the iPod (will be in "Removable Media"). Now, right click and select "Explore".

You need to make sure that the View options in Explorer are set so that you can see hidden file and folders. If it is, you will see a folder called "iPod control". Open this, copy all music files onto your removable hard drive.

Now just drag all of these from your removable hard drive into your iTunes library and they will import.

Putting it in the disc mode enables the iPod to be used just like a flash drive. You can partition a few gigs of space for file backups, etc.

I believe this plugin still works with 2.8.4 - just install it like any other plugin and run it. It should update your WP installation.

Hope that helps!
