This isn't new. Maybe for his church it might be. A lot of Apostolic pastors do not allow their parishioners to wear weave.

Born and raised in Jamaica but have been living in the US for 8 years. Heck Yeah I code switch. People who hear me on the phone think I'm talking another language. FYI - My parents did not allow us to talk Patoise in the house 'only the Queen's English'. If you meet me in the street I sound as if I'm from Florida but as soon as I find out you are Jamaican "Wah appen youte." I slide from ebonics, pure English American accent, 'the Queen's English', raw Patoise and since I'm living in Louisiana now I'm learning a little Creole slang. Yeah Sha!

I was thinking the same thing. Nor did he leave his child for child molesters to take. I want my future husband to do this if I'm not there. Trust no one with your precious cargo.
