Wow! You have just saved me an extraordinary amount of time. I did not know that all I need to do is put in a DVD and let the chips fall where they may. I find it very insulting that you stereotype all "teacher's" in this manner. I would love to have anyone come and sit in a class of mine and take part, ask questions. Then watch as I make multiple lesson plans for multiple courses, tailor my lessons for the different students with their respective learning disabilities and try to make the lessons engaging. All the while there is always going to be someone who thinks they have all the answers and could easily do my job. I spend the time working for the students because I want them to be successful and understand that their education will open doors for them that in many other instances may never come to fruition.
Enough of my rant, I have already spent too much time when I need to plan for AP courses and EOC courses that my students need to pass. Maybe they make a DVD for that. I'll have to check.
