Tim this doesn't make sense to me thus I can't see who is saying this to you. An HSA should not be taxed or fined. When you come on medicare, you are no longer allowed to contribute to an HSA. But you can pull dollars from it for medical expenses without being taxed. As far as SSI goes, they have different rules and I am unfamiliar with that. Joe Wilson's comment doesn't tell it all. He was out of line. What I would like to see is the Democrats fess up to their total disrespect for Bush while he spoke and in the press. I didn't like Bush but hey lets not pull the board out of Joe Wilson's eye when the Democrats got a skyscrapper in theirs.
