I disagree totally. I am a Mac person. I love IOS but it's boring. Android is more fun, but boring. I dislike anything made by HTC or LG, for that matter, but I love the Lumia series and I think WP7 blows them all away. Instead of page after page of dead icons on an iPhone or page after page of icons and widgets with Android, WP7 has a single page of tiles that matter and a second one for all apps. The OS does everything in an elegant way. I'm 100% for WP7 and I plan on sticking with the Lumia series. I am no Microsoft fan, believe me. I think Windows is the worst OS on the planet, but WP7 is the best.

GeoHot's jailbreak/unlock is problematic. I tried it several times. Yes it's fast, but it knocked out my WiFi, and it also knocked out my wireless signal. In the end, the Dev-Team's solution is more stable and much more dependable. It takes forever, but who cares?

I don't see any way of creating the custom firmware without the pineapple. I'm not given the choice.

There is no signal. It says no service. I don't see an activate option in iTunes. I also see no option to choose between icons in Pwnage Tool. It was there in previous versions.

I'm doing it again.

*Okay I restored again and my signal is back.I still have that terrible pineapple graphic. I really dislike these Dev-Team graphics.

Any way to avoid getting the pineapple logo as part of the deal? I've also lost my cell signal since I did this jail break.

With Ultrasn0w 9 I get "No Service". The SIM card is not rejected, but no service.

Amended. After 10 minutes, it found the carrier.

I have a 3Gs. What does this mean? ECID? img3? I have an iPhone. I use it. How can I know what this means?
