Not excited and I was a big fan of the Raimi films. The actor playing Peter Parker is a lightweight compared to Tobey McGuire. Plus the original movies had a Christian and patriotic theme not sure this will. Probably will go see it just because there isn't much out there from Hollyweird worth watching these days.
