Danny's lack of a high school education is showing. He fits in well with the rest of Hollywood in that regard, but he tends to stick his size 12 into his mouth whever he's around adults.

Sean Penn's performance in Milk was mediocre at best, but the gay theme assured him the oscar. The only thing that could have made it an absolute shoe-in would be if Harvey Milk (who?) had traveled to Iran, North Korea, Venezuela or France to bad-mouth the USA. I thought Hugh Jackman did a great job as host, and was especially glad to see Slumdog Millionaire win, but Hollywood's gay agenda is more than I can take. Shawn Penn should be in Leavenworth, not Hollywood. Bill Maher was even more putrid, but can only survive on cable.

These two were little more than smellyt brown smears on a generally pleasant evening of entertainment. Regardless, this will be my last Oscar. They do not even pretend to reflect the views of movie-going public (or as in my case, former movie-going public).

By the way, where was Clint Eastwood and Gran Torino? Was the box office so big that the Hollywood elites were turned off?

This was my last effort to watch the Oscars, and all was well until that pompous traitor Sean Penn began to lecture the people of California about their vote on Proposition 8. Just in case Penn has spent too much time with despots, be advised that this is a democracy, and the people in California have a right to express their views via propositions. If you don't like it, go live in Iran, Venezuela, North Korea or San Francisco... or wherever else you think they share your twisted values. This will be the last time I ever watch this sick, leftist love fest.
