no, i bought the 2g already ul and jb. i did not buy the ul/jb

I'm been trying to wade through all of the info on the sites, but I was wondering if anyone would comment on the following:
Just bought a 3GS and have a 2G model i want to update and give to a friend. So, this applies to the 2G model.
I bought the 2G UL and JB with FW 114. Then I used quickpwn (I'm pretty sure) to update to FW 221. Now I would like to the latest FW.
Should I restore with iTunes and quickpwn again, or use redsnOw to update to FW312?
Any thoughts?
