Directing a woman to the bathroom or a "family lounge" is the last thing you should do.

hmmm pretty sure the rocking chair hasn't been there in years, unless they have replaced to cover themselves. I would prefer to feed my child in the play place vs the toliet anyday!

I have nursed all my children and I know that if she is like most nursing mothers, then she just wants to teach ignorant people like the guard, the patrons in the mall, or the idiots who have been posting here that BREASTFEEDING IS NORMAL. I always wished someone would be dumb enough to say something about my nursing my children, because I would likely rip their heads off.

I commend this women for standing up for herself and the other nursing mothers out there.

Code § 135.30A (2002) a woman may breastfeed the woman's own child
in any public place where the woman's presence is otherwise authorized.

Where in any of this does it say she wasn't "discreet"? I have seen women be discreet without a blanket!

I think women who wear shorts with their butt cheeks hanging out is offensive. And men with their boxers. But if I complained to a security guard about it, what could he really do... nothing!

I think she is a brave momma! Normalizing breastfeeding is something that needs to be done! We are so behind the times vs other countries.

OMG How dare our small children know what a breast is for *gasp* How ridiculous that people have issues with public nursing.... Maybe Bottle-fed babies should be covered with a blanket too. If it offends you DONT LOOK!!!
