As a GE employee myself, I saw it became very clear right after the election corporate brass was going to be in bed with the Obama administration. Hell, when Jeff Immelt was appointed to Obama's economic advisory board, I felt this was a conflict of interest. With Obama's goals, much money can be made by GE. GE's Ecomagination agenda likes to say "Green is green." In other words, what we sell to promote green initiatives will bring bottom line profit. It's all about the money.

NBC and MSNBC (known as Al Jazerra news in my office) are a disgrace. GE promotes "integrity" to it's employees and expects every employee to treat "integrity" in everything you do in your job as priority. However, it seems "integrity" applies to everyone except its corporate officers and news talk show hosts. And when the microphone was turned off at the shareholder's meeting, where was the "integrity" in that????

It's good to see Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck and the shareholders keep GE's feet to the fire.

Jeffty - You are wrong. You need to read the personal memoirs from our founding fathers about their beliefs of the peoples right to keep and bear arms. They had enough of the tryanny from the King of England. They truly believed an armed citizen is a free citizen.

MyrmidoNOT, yes I was being sarcastic in my comment. I would encourage everyone that smokes and are mad as hell about the new tobacco tax increase to cut back on their smoking (I have). This would send a clear signal to the lawmakers that the expected tax revenue to fund SCHIP has failed.

The Colonists protested to the KIng when they were being over-taxed on basics such as sugar. They cut back on the consumption of sugar and it send a clear signal to the King.

Dang.....no cigars? If the Administration would allow Cuban cigars, they would be able to collect more tax for the SCHIP program.

The media never covers the stories where the law abiding citizen has used a firearm to protect himself and their family. Firearms are used thousands of times each year for person protection and the presence of a firearm, without a shot being fired, prevents crime in many instances.

Why doesn't the media talk about how many American citizen lives lost each year due to the crimes of illegal aliens in this country? Last year, a very sad story not too far from where I live, an illegal alien lost control of the vehicle he was driving and killed a little boy. Why was that not covered in national media?

I believe Air Force One burns about 6,000 gallons of fuel per hour. And then waiting the Prez is a caravan of vehicles that probably get about 10 miles to the gallon. It's OK for the elite to create emissions, but you better cut back on what you use. Fine example of "do what I say, not what I do."
