I would love for the Rangers to grab Filatov in a trade. He is tearing up the KHL and the Jackets haven't been very happy with him thus far.

I like this idea bigtime....Kotalik and Higgins have proved to be busts and Redden sent down can only help a youngster get NHL ready and play in a defensive system that can be something good in the near future. The problem is who is going to take 6 million and 2 years on Kotalik's contract....Higgins is another story. He is free after the season and a team in need of a semi-scorer could use him for their playoff ventures.
