I don't think people should whack him just because he does not wish to be further involved. Maybe he does not have the energy or he truly feels that he should only make his stand known but not to let it go to another level. Let us respect his privacy and desire to express his opinion in a gentler non confrontational manner. While all other possible scanarios suggested by many like pressure , chickened out etc could be true, have you also thought that this could be a simple old peaceful man who is unhappy about some developments but belives in penning his thoughts to the concerned people and leave them to handle it. Give him a break and let God control while nature takes its stride.

Sorry don't agree with you on your agreement to the way or manner in which this has been done to a ut totally agree with you on the right of the royalty to award or strip.it does however beg the question if such titles are of much relevance these days. I know of my people who deserve such titles or honoriums but have never sought it nor asked for it. The real heroes of the country. Like the single mother who holds 3 jobs to support her family. Like the physically disabled who overcomes all odds to face the challenges.
Of course you are right. No fuss here. Will continue to support the cause of justice by all including those without titles. But it seems funny that when you stand up for what is right you get tested and punished.please join me in praying for Justice in the country my fellow cpuntry man pache.

Hey Nashruddin. Please go read the constitution and our first PM TUNKU's statements and various comments for you to realise that Malaysia is not an Islamic country as you wrongfully profess. Please get your facts correct. We acknowledge that Islam is the official religion and will always have a special place in the structure of Malaysia But, since when did we change the constitution to make Malaysia Islamic? I am generally a social wine drinker. But just to let you know that you CAN'T run my life, I will drink beer on that day of Octoberfest. If you don't like it, stay home. Ordinary people like me who form the silent majority are beginning to get fed up with this nonsense, Enough is enough !
