Yes, I’m really enjoying the series. Not as good as the Lady Sherlock, lol, but the relationships of the main characters are interesting and I always like an English setting. I’m not usually a cozy mystery fan, as Ruth is an archeologist not a detective, but she gets called in by the police (a particular detective actually) for found bodies.

We had completely different books on our lists this week! The ones on your list I’ve read I do agree are funny.
Here’s the link to my Gun Seller review, back when I still did reviews <a href="http://:https://raidergirl3-anadventureinreading.blogspot.com/2007/03/book-gun-seller-by-hugh-laurie.html?m=1

Catcher in the Rye didn’t make an impression- good or bad.
I’m so glad that someone else hated On the Road!

I think my image problem is from using images from LibraryThing. But who knows? There are some good series releases coming. I missed the latest Jane Harper though and I love her books!

Thanks for stopping by Les. I only included series where I am up to date, but I missed that there is a new Lady Sherlock in late fall. I think the image problem is because I am using images from LibraryThing. It is the new Blogger but I’ve mostly adjusted to it.
Ps -I just tried the sauted zucchini with an egg. It was delicious!

Katherine,
I'm glad to hear you love Jenny Colgan. I'm looking forward to getting to the earlier books. I hope you get to Jane Harper - great mysteries.

I think it is Capote. I feel I've heard speculation that Harper Lee did much of the book, In Cold Blood. It's so weird that the two of them wrote such amazing books, and had grown up together and were both unusual.

Such a wild story! I don't feel like I heard anything about the story before either. It feels like it should have been more in the news, but it missed me completely.

Tana French and Liane Moriarty are so strong. Run Hide Repeat is a fascinating story. I wonder if you browse around CBC if you an find the story. The author is a CBC Maritime personality, which adds an extra interesting layer.

Good to know about the audio. I like audiobooks a lot, but it's not always available at my library. I haven't really bought an audiobook, but I keep looking at Audible, and noting books that are recommended on audio. I'll add this one to that list.
