The driver that was killed was my maid of honor in my wedding 2 years ago. We have been estranged for a while and my heart just breaks for her children, grandchildren and her parents. Having been in a near fatal car wreck 5 years ago, my heart just aches for the family. I just wish I could go back and change things with Toni. My prayers and sympathies are abundant.

Oh and how ironic that channel 8 is the only one publishing such newsworthy material. Channel 8 is no better than a tabloid these days.

The only thing I can hope for is that all of your sins be posted as publicly as his have been and that you wear the scarlet letter as visibly as he has. Have none of you ever made errors in judgement? I hope all the businesses in Belding fail and all the owners fall on desperate times so they can know what trying to survive in desperate times really means. Unfortunately all of you would rather point fingers than be a part of a "POSITIVE" solution. So for all those "holier than thou" people out there, remember what goes around comes around and one day someone will be pointing out your mistakes and failures. I hope you take their criticisms as eagerly as you give them!

Gee no personal attack there. For the litigation that the mall board has Varnum on board for .. who is paying for that? Is it the mall board budget? Is it the individual business owners? Let's think about that? Having used Varnum myself for my own issues in the past I know the kind of $$ they require.

Who else hasn't paid their taxes in the mall or their rent? Who else moved out of the mall within the last year? But who did get paid? That is right, the employees of the salon got paid so they could feed their families and pay their bills. You are right how very callous and evil of them for making sure their employees were allowed to take care of their families. What we should do is perpetuate welfare in Belding. Let's everyohe default on credit cards, mortgage payments while trying to earn an honest living because the city of Belding is much more important than the family. Because after all whenever we have a need the city of Belding rushes to our need right??? Wrong. My question is.. for all those in the mall who have ever been late or defaulted on taxes or rent.. are their names in the paper? Do they get dragged through the mud? I don't see D&B sports listed at all? why not?

You've got to love the Belding Mall Board!! How much more crap can they put the Husted's through? The mall board has an independant accountant that handles all the financials for the mall board so how could they embezzle money from the mall? What the average person doesn't know is that the Mall Board businesses are mercilessly crucifying this couple. I have been friends with the Husted's for years. This goes beyond what their moral character is. They would rather give everything they had to help others than to take away from someone. They are good people with good morals. They have never denied they owe taxes.

As for the businesses on the mall board, how are you funding your allegations and litigations? Seems to me the customers are. Who is robbing who now?
