The right doesn't want background checks for people to purchase weapons so we may have no other choice than to arm ourselves to protect ourselves from these hateful bigots. I will never own a weapon myself but, if things continue as they are, we may have to go back to the wild, wild western type social system and protect ourselves the only way we can. I certainly hope the murderer gets the death penalty.

Believe me, If those students were wearing t-shirts with a person of color with a red circle and slash, there would be outrage. There are gay students in every school. This is wrong in every possible way.

The US Auto Industry is back, saving hundreds of thousands of jobs and keeping the American dream alive. The money is being paid back to the treasury by the Auto Industry and will soon be paid off. How do you folks who wanted to let the US Auto Industry fail feel now? If you still agree with this article after the outcome of good Presidential decision making, then you just don't care about the USA. All you care about is getting this president out of office, no matter how good he is at his job.

I hope someone will keep track of teen suicide rates during this very distasteful media blitz by the National Organization of Marriage. I can assure you that there will be some closeted teens and adults out there that will surrender their lives when they see it. Many young people will decide that they do not want to live under that cloud of shame so artfully depicted in this ad. I only wish the government could pull the ad. Disguised as angels, these brokers of lies squeeze the spirit until it disengages from the world. Shame on them.

Taxing Domestic Partner Benefits needs to be stopped or many of us will be putting the burden of our domestic partners health back to the states. I can't claim my partner as an exemption, even though I am supporting him right now, and I am being taxed for rendering health services to him through my employer. I don't want to remove him from these benefits for many reasons but it is beginning to look like I have no other choice. The same situation is coming up for many in my situation. We've lost our home, car and security in the last year. Please help us.
