In 2005 they had a chance to incorporate as a city but they turned it down so let them live with that. Also they were a private lake when it went out so why should we pay to fix it now even if they do turn it over to state or county.

Go to Walmarts pet department and they have a machine that makes a tag with your name and address for $5. Put one on your dog and it's just as good as returning a lost pet as their expensive license. I guess they have to come up with whatever phony reasons they can to bleed people to death in Cedar Rapids. I'm so glad I had the smarts to leave that city 35 years ago.

PCI is acting like they are doing Cedar Rapids such a big favor by building this complex.When all is said and done who is going to be making all the big bucks off of this? PCI is. What does Cedar Rapids lack in medical care that this medical building will fill?
