I it is 10000 per person if you are traveling alone.
if you are going as a family of two people and more, it is 20,000
This could be in any currency.
Unfortunately, they don't consider the hotel voucher. You will have to show them the cash. As I mention in the post above, sometimes they don't ask you to show this money at all, while some other they are insistent and I have seen them give hard time to those who can't show it. So my recommendation would be to carry this cash.

I am not sure what rates you would get from Thai Bahts (THB) in India. Just run an exchange on this page and see if the rates you are getting in India for THB are close to this

Also, in the past I have noticed that the currency exchange counters at Bangkok airport don't like Indian currency. Though the good thing is that their rates seem to be consistent.
