I'm not stupid. He was denied ownership because he says things like: "‘slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back. I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark.’” His words not left wing bloggers.

These comments got him fired. Donavan McNabb gets a lot of credit for being a good quarterback because he is black is how I understood it.
