Boy I was glad to see this one come down. if you try to protect yourself from a Cops dog you'd most likely get shot. Now all dog owners best be on their toes, can't hide behind police dog behavior anymore.

Spent my childhood summers on Lopez, a lot of family there sense the mid 1800's. They didn't even have a police station when I was growing up, So I see her maybe a bit different then you. Best regards

Maybe the local News need to stop blabbing with pride when a state or town is put on the most prized list. Remember when Oregon had a saying "Oregon is a nice place to visit but please don't stay". Look at Lopez Island , there are enough golf courses and airport to sink the place. I wouldn't use the word sinful, but TheLastDon is right, we are a destructive lot.

And because it is a serious allergy maybe it should be part of health class curriculum. Good the boy got his up and comings perhaps it will change his life's path. Maybe someone should look into deeper class discussion on the dangers of allergies starting from lower grades on up.
As far as his age and being in high school that does not make you a loser, age don't mean a thing when that diploma is put into your hand, the fact that you earned one is what counts. I met folks in collage that were close to retirement age, it's never too late to learn. Lets hope this kid learned his lessoned.

Show some respect, give thee other guy his 18 inches of comfort zone, it will keeps yea both out of trouble.
