Thank you HavasuJ for your reply. It is so true.
Wow, unreal, I guess you have nothing better to do then bash grocery workers. If we want to stand up for a fair contract that is our right and choice. I don't tell you what to do about your job.
Wow....you are an ignorant person. If it is not your job or involves you, is it really any of your business?? By the way, I have been a grocery checker for many years and bust my butt for my customers and do a good job at it. Regardless of what you say, I deserve a fair contract.
Well said. I totally agree with you. People on here that are saying things like that are so ignorant.
Tool....really?? So what do you do for a living?? I guess you are above all of us who work at a grocery store??
So that means we aren't valued for our work?? What do you do that makes you superior?? I have worked at Fred Meyer for many years and have many customers that value me and my work. Think before you speak.
Of course you don't care about the pay cuts and other stuff, you are not one of these employees. Well I am and I do care about all of it. It is ALL important. If it was your job you might feel differently.
I have worked at Fred Meyer for many years and we have only gone on strike one time. This has nothing to do with greed. I am so tired of people thinking it is always about money. This like the Boeing strike, has to do with takeaways. Unless you work there you don't know the whole story. There is never a good time to strike, but standing up for a fair contract is in my opinion the right thing to do. Times are tough, sure, employers use that against us too. I am happy to have a job but not happy to have takeaways. Do you really know the whole story??
Wow...I am amazed that most of you people blame the union and their workers. Wake up...it is Boeing management plain and simple!! People always want to blame the union and blame the machinists...you do it all the time. Do you really have all your facts or do you just go based on what the media tells you?? I just can't understand why you are on the side of the company and not the workers. Very sad!!
