I agree. Terry Eagleton has some interesting writing painting a portrait of Jesus as a revolutionary figure. Almost in the Che vein.

That seems pretty badass. Definitely a far cry from the "go ahead and slap my other cheek too" Jesus.

Maybe I'm ignorant about all this. Is there a question about whether Jesus existed?

I understand the whole Jesus as God thing being silly, but it seems pretty evident that there was the "person" existed.

ABC is dumb. This show could potentially be marketed to EVERYONE.

Like Joel said, the LOST fans have their angle, as do the Gray's Anatomy fans. PLUS the show is kind of like a reality show with astronauts getting "voted" off the space-mission by the "beta-thing."

The sci-fi is even toned down for the most part. Oh and there are multiple attractive girls of varying skin-tones.

It's really sad that ABC can't see its potential...
