My theory is that religion is a symptom, not a delusion, because all of us would like to see the world as we want it, and some things are more comforting than others. Considering the vastness of the universe, the mind-blowing series of causes and conditions leading to human life, only makes me cherish its fragility and accept my limitations. Not always easy to live with this humility.
