It's true that we all have secrets. Things we don't want anyone to know. We don't even want God to know. But, He does. We need to confess to Him first and maybe thats all. We don't always have to tell others our secrets, our sins. Our first priority is with Him. We need to be very careful who we tell what to. I had a pastor one time who would tell everyone everything about everybody. He couldn't keep a secret no matter what. What's up with that? Who wants to confide in him? What a lovely thing to be able to trust someone and confess things to them and know they will still love you and not share it with anyone else. I pray that I can be that someone for others.

The Lord is my helper...I am free to be me.

I was reading this morning, Hebrews 13:21....."May He equip you with all you need for doing His will." Reminding me that this life is not all about me. Not about me at all, in fact. Loving Him and my neighbors should be my top priority. How often I forget that. Only He is worthy of praise and adoration. New mercies and grace are given to me every day. A new chance to get it right. Do-overs every morning. Sweet!

Maybe the relationship wasn't that strong to begin with. So...like the seed falling on ground that is not deep or rooted in a strong foundation (the rock called Jesus), when temptations come, they are swept away by their own desires. God says that He will give us the desires of our hearts, (which is always going to be better than my own). But...it's not too late, they can be forgiven and restored if they repent. God is just and fair and loves us. Repent, turn around, go the other way and there He will be. __Have a super blessed day, Peg__
