And what did anyone expect from a department head with NO experience or expertise in much of anything? Upchuck Hagel got the appointment as a thank you from Obama for using his company's voting machines in areas where Romney was leading. Hagel's magic machines gave Obama huge victories in those areas. Of course Hagel will spew his boss's rhetoric, that was obviously part of the deal. This is scary, placing incompetent and idiotic people to run agencies like this. Sanity and common sense left DC a long time ago...only corruption and ineptness remain.
It's just another "don't waste a crisis" tactic to deflect our attention from the madhouse in the middle east. Get the Ebola panic going full blast, November is coming and the Dems have to hide all the ugly stuff of the past six years. One doctor wrote in a blog that the best thing people can do with Ebola and flu season coming, is to up their Vitamin C to three grams (3,000 mg) a day and Vitamin D to 1,000 units a day to keep your immune system in top shape. The places in Africa where Ebola is running wild don't have the sanitation procedures we have and they don't have strong immune systems to fight off an exposure to the disease.
Now doctors will be giving a smell test to seniors during their yearly physicals to see how many more physicals they will have to provide under Obamacare? A stuffed up nose due to allergies or a cold is a good sign for them but an early death warming to the unlucky senior?
I remember that "new math" experiment when my kids were in school. The schools also decided that learning to read with phonics was out, the kids had to learn each word as a whole word instead of sounding it out. My kids were both reading before they started school, thanks to phonics. I told them to sound it out quietly and just say the word, don't tell the teacher what you are doing. Over the years there have been several failed "educational experiments" on our kids, each one drops the US standing in world education another few notches until we are on par with third world schools now. The only system that really worked was the old Three R's - 'readin, 'ritin and 'rithmetic plus the fourth R - responsibility.
Michelle's idea was to make a radical change in the menus. That doesn't work, kids need gradual changes to adapt to new foods, She tossed out corn, most kids like corn and made the meals smaller. She doesn't realize that for many kids, the school lunch is the only decent meal they get that day (thanks to her husband's disastrous economy) so cutting back on the lunches is not the way to go. If she wants to raise a stink about something, she should go after the food manufacturers for the junk and chemicals they put in snack foods, kids cereals and drinks. These empty calories are the culprit behind childhood obesity, not the school lunches..
In Montana and Idaho, the wolves went after wild game, killed most of them off, went for domesticated animals - cattle, sheep, killing them and leaving them to rot after they had eaten their fill. They began stalking kids at bus stops, parents had to drive kids to the stop, make sure they got on the bus and meet the bus in the afternoon. Those areas now have a "Shoot, Shovel and Shut Up" war against the wolves...
So Obama, in all his insanity, believes he can decide how the world should behave. He and his equally crackpot "negotiators" believe they are the rulers of the world? So what will our wimpy Congress do? Stand around and pretend that this is just wonderful? Next comes amnesty......
A business news program said that 42% of blacks are on welfare and 72% of black babies are born to unwed mothers. That's a bad start in life, and the lack of a father or father figure doesn't teach boys how to grow up as responsible and caring adults. The "Eat, Exercise and Excel" program does that and gives the kids a chance to get out of the ghetto or poor neighborhood and make a better life for themselves. This shows how concerned individuals (not government programs) can make a difference. Dump Common Core and put Eat, Exercise and Excel in all the schools!

What next? Forbidding us to exhale CO2 or mandating face masks to soak up the CO2? Obama is purposely trying to destroy the US, turn it into a third world country. He is doing an excellent job there, thanks to the enablers, RINOs and liberals in Congress who sit by and smile as he does his dirty work...
