God damn it! I'm going to miss you Scott! You've been one of my most important standbys. I knew that if something major had happened in US foreign policy you'd have a timely guest on like Patrick Cockburn on Iraq or Gareth Porter on Iran & the IAEA. This is truly a devastating loss.

Good luck man, and hope we hear from you soon!

I think Scott was 'massaged' in that direction by Patrick Cockburn, who consistently insisted on Scott's show that the US had no other option but to leave.

Yeah, replace the US with an 'honest' broker and the futility and hopelessness dissipate instantly. Maybe the Israelis and Palestinians can put an ad on Craigslist for one.

I don't get it? I don't see the irony. England was a colonialist country that tried to hold Afghanistan against her will. The US is bringer of freedom, and only those terrorists want us out.

Remember when Obama gave an unprecedented speech in Cairo? What an amazing grouping of words that was! Completely initiated the uprisings across the Middle East.

What an excellent point you make Scott about the US being the face of violence and dictatorship!

Loved this guy! Informed AND impassioned! I still don't understand the need to apologize for Obama, couldn't someone make the same case for W. being under the pressure of the intelligence agencies and Pentagon? The man is responsible and I think it would be a good start if he could made an example of. Anyway, I really hope you have this guy back on.
