how do i ref lash the iPad baseband? thanks...edit- think i figured it out- using pwnagetool to create custom 4.1 ipsw with iPad baseband, then use iTunes to install it- which should reflash my iPad baseband! hopefully
Hey guys- i have an iPhone 3GS- on the iPad baseband 06.15.00, i used tiny umbrella to downgrade to iOS 4.1 successfully. The phone is locked to a carrier called fido- i have an unactivated fido sim as well as the activated sim card on the carrier i want to unlock for. No matter what card i insert, iTunes says "there is no sim card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate"- i though that using the unactivated fido card, would still let me activate it?
my worry is that the sim slot isn't working or reading the card.... i am still yet to get the "no sim inserted" pop up when i remove the sim card and leave it empty. And when i insert a sim, it doesnt begin searching. When i go into SAM-more information-sim details, should i not see my IMSI number for my inserted sim? its not there.
okay, so i tried to reinstall ultrasn0w and then slide to power off, searches for a while, but then says no service. Im not really sure hot to use SAM- my phone is hacktivated SAM is saying
I did slide to power off. I will try SAM as I do have an official sim

Hey guys, having a bit of a delema. Used tiny umbrella to downgrade iPhone3gs on iPad baseband 6.15.00 and then jail role successfully using reds now. I installed ultrasn0w but when I put a friends sim card in, it searched but ended up on no service. What could the error be? Is there a chance something is wrong with the sim card slot? Thanks for any help.
Is anyone working on a 5.1 unlock? I'm not familiar with the process so does it normally take quite a while or has there already been progress made? Thanks!
