I wasn't pretty, but man it was fun...last year we would have lost that game...the young pups are growing up.

I am starting actually worry about Sefo...He is certainly tough, but in terms of passing accuracy he seems to have taken a step back from last year. Too many sailing balls and overthrows. Too often he seems to be "white knuckling" it and playing nervous...It was a great win and a really fun game to watch, but our guys need to tighten it up. That game looked way too much like the Hawai'i game and not enough like UMass. Com'on fellas, let's tighten it up. If we play disciplined football I like our chances, otherwise it's gonna be "Mister Toad's Wild Ride" every week.

The running game looked very nice. The line opened up good holes and the runners took advantage. If they would have done more of that last week we would have won by 2 touchdowns. It was only UMass and I don't expect 390 on the ground every week, but if our guys can keep pounding the rock effectively it will help that struggling air attack. For me, besides the win, the thing that made me happy was seeing our Buffs play the cleanest most disciplined game I have seen them play in a very very long time...Don't wanna get too pumped up, but today was about as encouraging as last week wasn't.

Seriously...I hate those cartoons...I think the big takeaway from the last 2 weeks is pretty clear....pound the rock,baby, pound the rock...I hope Lindgren got the memo.

Drew Litton needs to take his marginal talent somewhere else, like maybe Nebraska. Those cartoons are lame.
I rarely complain but that stretch in the late 3rd early 4th quarter where we repeatedly went 3 and out on nothing but poorly executed pass plays was especially brutal. There was still plenty of time to go back to what had been working (running off tackle) so they could throw against a defense on its heels rather than a defense (and entire world) that knew what was coming. We had no business losing that game. Hate to say it but we need to grow some balls very quickly.

It would be nice to be able to read the article without the ads getting in the way of the print....This happens all the time. It is something else (besides Ringo) the DC needs to fix.
