Yes, unfortunately unlike previous non-Universal freebies, IGN appears to have only made the iPhone release available for FREE, so you'll have to use 2x scaling to play this version of the app on the iPad. :(

The codes DO NOT give you the iPad-specific version of the app for free, just the iPhone release.

Hmm, that's a good question, I'm not sure.

Is it possible that you have not installed the v4.10 update to the app yet which came out on April 18th?

Perhaps that needs to be installed before you see the new IAP option?

Honestly it'll probably be a while before I have a chance to review this one. Right now I just don't have the time to invest into such a meaty title, so many other things already on my plate. However, temptation may win out...we'll see :)
