I have also turned to MADD as my family was involved in an accident in June caused my a drunk driver driving the wrong way on 405. MADD has helped me in many many ways.. so sad to hear this.
I hope I am never on the road with you.
My family and I got ran off the road by a wrong way drunk driver on 405 in June. The drunk drove at least 7 miles the wrong way forced numbers of cars off the road (three of them including us crashed) turned around and drove right direction. They caught her thankfully... and guess what .. she still has her license! Also the state trooper told us to never ever drive in the left hand lanes of 405 at night, they said they get numerous calls about wrong way drivers each week.
Throw the book at her. I hope that she isnt walking around like a free woman like the woman that cause the crash my family and two other families were involved in in June. Driving the wrong way on the freeway and is out enjoying her summer while the rest of us suffer. Not to mention her insurance company treating us as if we were the ones that caused the accident. My deepest sympathy to the families.
I was not there so can not say what I would have done.
I just noticed that the 27 post you've made on this one article are talking about how gun owners are undereducated, republicans that should live in Idaho or South Carolina with other "white people" and I dont consider myself uneducated (since I have a teaching degree... I did go to college thank you) republican, or racist.
Then maybe you should stop labeling all "gun freaks" or gun owners as undereducated sheeple that are part of the American Taliban.
I am a woman, I dont watch Fox news and I am not republican. I do however own guns and use them often to do clay disc shooting and find this enjoyable. I own guns but do not keep them in my home because I have two young children. Does this make me pathetic and ignorant?
Thank you!!! I couldnt have said it better myself. After being a victim of a drunk driving accident this is one topic that really boils my blood. My family was nearly killed in June by a wrong way drunk driver on 405. After two months of physical therapy I still have several more months to go. The worst part about the whole thing... this wasnt the drunk drivers first DUI.
My thoughts are with the family.. may you now rest in peace Ashley.
