If that is the case, the pups will die now :-(
Most people would not even treat a dog like this.
When I was a kid on the farm my little sister talked about the pretty dog that would come from the forest and sit at the edge of our property. She would sit out there on the edge of the field and wait for it. One day my dad saw the "dog" come up to the fence where she was sitting. He saw that it was a coyote, but he didn't yell, he just watched. And that coyote would just sit on the other side of the fence from her and look at her. He wouldn't get close enough to be touched, but he seemed to like her. After a bit, he'd trot back to the forest.
Are you joking? Yes, things are tight usually for a young family when children first come along, but responsible couples have thought it through and have a plan before they make the decision to have kids.
This is a great boon to coastal tourism. All the curious onlookers will be drawn to the coast to see what 'treasures' they may come across. The community leaders should totally capitalize on the inevitable influx of people on the coast by enlisting them to help clean up the beaches - post signs and offer trash bags and places to deposit them.
Yes, like Romeo and Juliet. Oh, and The Sound of Music.
Eating, drinking, changing the radio station, yelling at kids in the back seat, etc. It's all a distraction and it's all potentially dangerous. Scoff all you want, MANY of the drivers on the road are not paying attention! One of these days you might be on the receiving end of a distracted driver and you may sing a different tune.
Gosh, my Dad took me up there as a kid and it was a special place. The tree casts, waterfall and enormous old growth make it a magical place.
Ok, I am a huge dog lover and I'm very happy for Papillo. But I just wonder, doesn't this sort of thing happen a lot to dogs here in the US? What warrants the expense of bringing one dog from Costa Rica to the US for such special treatment, when we could probably help 100 dogs here for the same amount of money. Don't get me wrong - I'd want to save every dog, regardless of where they came from. I often peruse the craigslist ads dreaming of rescuing them all...
