Not so, I am an evangelical, and while I would have preferred Mike Huckabee or Ron Paul, I definitely preferred Mitt Romney to John McCain! I only voted for him in the end because not voting would have been as bad as voting for Obama!

Well David you know that St. Nicholas was a real and very godly man. Which of course is why he was sainted. (just teasing) but seriously. When my girls were little and they asked me about Santa I always told that "yes Santa WAS a real man!". When they were old enough, and ready to accept that Santa didn't come down the chimney on Christmas Eve, and what the word WAS implied they camly accepted it. If you don't want to, or are not ready to, accept the belief in God(Jesus) I understand. I won't even try to talk you into it because that's not what you want. The great thing about God is that he is there even when you don't want him, and he respects your choice, even though it breaks his heart. What I will say is that we all go through rough times of pain and confusion, I just want to encourage you to give Jeremiah 33:3 a chance. "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew the great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." We all want someone to answer when we call, and we all want direction when we're lost and in the dark. Best wishes David!

Totally agree, we live in South Texas, violence is rising. My husband and I just took our CHL class yesterday. As law abiding citizens we need to know the law, and be prepared to defend ourselves from both thugs and from ignorance of the law. If you carry a gun you should cover your own behind. Be armed with more than a gun, be armed with knowledge!

The fabric of our country is rotting and it started with the break down of the family. A lot of the younger generation that voted for Obama have no root they have no idea what their own parents beliefs and convictions are. Families don't sit down to dinner together anymore and talk about each others lives, much less current events! We have to teach our children, we have to raise them to do and know what is right.

Our military is made up of average people. They love the freedoms we have as Americans, I believe it would take much more that Obama to turn our military against their own country. This isn't China yet!
