The Galaxy is clearly closer in size to the clunky old cell phone than the iPhone.

I always thought the netbook was a neat idea, but balked at the craptastic hardware specs and clunky OS's. After the initial iPad frenzy subsided I finally bought a 32GB iPad and never looked at netbooks again. Planning on buying a second iPad as soon a v2.0 is introduced.

This probably looks like a pretty good deal to the 17% unemployed Americans or the millions of Americans who have lost their homes the last few years.

My goodness! You folks are a bunch of whiny little brats. I bought a USB 3.0 drive from CalDigit and they included a USB 3.0 board for my Mac Pro for free. iMac? Too bad. Upgrade to a Mac Pro or go buy a Windows 7 crap-gadget with USB 3.0 and leave the rest of us happy, productive Mac users alone.

I think about all the professional riggers that hang speakers in churches that are about to crash through your drop ceiling like ninjas and hang you (securely) by the rafters in your sanctuary.

It'll be a pretty sad commentary on the POTUS if he walks away without a free iPhone.

Walt has thousands of subscribers (who knows, maybe 10's of thousands) and the ear of the entire tech media.

You have what? Me?

Apparently Walt is doing SOMETHING right.

Here's the problem: as soon as the FIRST iPhone was released, Microsoft threw all of their weight into developing a competing product. And here it is: Windows Mobile 7. And it competes very well -- against the FIRST iPhone. They even went as far as duplicating the no cut-and-paste. Brilliant.

So if we wait another 3 years, maybe Windows Mobile X will compete favorably with TODAY's iPhone. And then everyone will point out how it's missing all the awesome features that iPhone 8 has.

I offered my apology on Facebook, and I feel it necessary to repeat it here. I let loose my own flamethrower on Jon, and I'm sorry for that. I'm lamenting the apparent loss of a great potential corporate partner for Soles4Souls, because too many people jumped to the wrong conclusion (that Skechers was ripping off Toms). Jon, you're not to blame for starting the fire, but you may have tossed on a twig or two.

All the outrage might have actually backfired. If you look at Skecher's Bob's pages (http://bit.ly/dojWGp which have since been removed) you can clearly see that they were working with Soles4Souls. So they weren't ripping off Toms, they were giving Soles4Souls some mega-corporate exposure that, sadly, appears to have been pulled.

Skechers dips their toes into Christian ministry and the Christians let loose the flamethrowers. Nice.
