Such a tragedy. We need more individuals who will get involved and do what's right even when there are risks.

Certainly any man worthy of his gender would intervene when a woman appears under attack. In hindsight, a better approach would be to intervene verbally from a distance, throw rocks or create other distractions especially if he is actually hurting the woman (or vice versa I suppose). Create a scene and get help. Keep your sidearm chambered and ready from a safe distance as a last resort. If you don't own or believe in firearms, have a metal pipe or a baseball bat in case your personal space is compromised.

Yes. please let's focus on the economy. Mitt understands it. O doesn't.

Besides, if they truly undermine the institution of marriage, which by definition is between man and woman across all cultures since before recorded history, and do so under the guise of discrimination, then the need to fix the economy will be even greater.

If we truly do not 'discriminate' by allowing gay couples to 'marry', then those 'rights' must apply to any pair of individuals, not just those that claim to be gay. If I have a good job with benefits and my buddy wants to live with me we should be able to 'marry' so we can share my benefits. The economy must be capable of supporting such arrangments if the institution of marriage is abandoned and a non-discrimination stance is taken.

Yea that's how I save money too, I keep a few grand stashed in my room for a trip or something, especially when I'm 24 and living with mom. Hate it when those random gang robberies happen to innocent people.

Good point. The answer probably isn't the one the medical community is looking for.

I also often wonder why I never see a statistic showing how many flu shot recipients were diagnosed with the flu that year. I've never received a flu shot and I haven't had the flu in over 20 yrs.

Google vaccinations and mercury poisoning.

Whenever the govt decides to order or promote vaccinations 'for your safety', don't just walk away, but RUN AWAY.

There are many ways you can limit your exposure. Vaccination may be an option, but is not the only one. Do your homework and get the facts by comparing sources with conflicting agendas. Be smart and protect against foolish knee-jerk reactions.

Politicians are always eager to 'look like they're doing something'. It's not always about what is best but rather what appeals to their majority constituents.

I'm reminded of executive bonuses at bailed-out financial giants like AIG because the democratic-controlled congress didn't draft the agreements to preclude such blatantly corrupt practice from occurring. I'm sure it was an accident, just like Obama said it was; an innocent oversight. I'm sure no one in congress or the Obama admin was paid off in that scandal. I'm sure the hundreds of billions of taxpayer $$ of 'stimulus' authorized by the democrat-controlled congress and Obama admin that somehow never materialized in terms of job creation or local economic growth, weren't squandered unscrupulously by the layers of beauraeucrats dispensing it.

When will we get over the illusion that the democrat party is labor-friendly? Was the NLRB suit against Boeing for building a factory in S Carolina a labor-friendly action? Worst unemployment since the great depression and people think this admin is labor-friendly, go figure.

Only a state that was dumb enough to elect Gregoire the second term would be 11 points in favor of O. And how dare he show his mug at Boeing after his appointees at the NLRB pulled the most anti-American stunt in recent history by challenging the legitimacy of a publically held U.S. corporation expanding its facilities WITHIN THE UNITED STATES (Boeing S. Carolina)! They had to essentially bribe the union to drop the case otherwise it might have gone to the Supreme Court. For building a state-of-the-art, SOLAR-POWERED factory on US Soil!!??. Can anybody spell CERUPTION? Who in their right mind would actually vote for Mr. sopranO, again? (I can forgive the first time, considering the choices, but NOT again).
