(continued) - especially with non-news B&W photographs and cartoons on our site - this is artwork, and we refuse to disfigure it, or to stop others from keeping a copy, in the name of bad morals... All of our ALT text, and JPGs (in File Properties) carry a copyright notice for those who know what to do with it. In our real world work (art, design and development) we do the same thing - disseminate and credit.
Please, use our site material to your heart's desire - just mention our name once in a while. It makes us feel good.
And thank you for having the courage to clear these matters up - it once again reinforces our belief that people who are free are good.

Guys, with everything you said - no offense taken. We should have posted privately, just never gave it a second thought. And we understand that it was a simple mistake, and the way things are now, we get in the grumpy mood ourselves way more often than we should. Case closed.
As for "protecting" the images... Some of us, having the misfortune of a firsthand (or should it be "firstskin"?) experience of living under socialism, know that the basic practical premise of socialist life is: people are thieves. (continued)

And we are very pleased that our content is of interest to you. However, we at WWW.OBAMAFU.COM are planning to publish a book using all of the site content, and this is why we mention this. We are sure that the copyright notice (or a credit) was omitted here inadvertently, and that this blog will correct this omission.

We are trying to disseminate most of our content as widely as possible, and we do not want you to think that you cannot quote us or post some of our material on your websites and blogs... this would be silly - please, do!
