As someone who is studying to become a teacher at 51 years young, our Curriculum Prof. showed this film last semester in class which was refreshing since she's a lifelong Teacher/Administrator. I was so inspired by the film and hope the movement grows, but it does need to be monitored to ensure quality! I know some of the younger mush minds in my classroom didn't agree with it, but at least it was left for us to decide!
PS: I don't expect anything when entering the teaching workplace, I must perform to ensure I continue to keep that job (much like I did in my previous career).
Chavez, Castro and Ortega are well known leftists. Correa in Ecuador is well on his way to plunging that beautiful country into hell (heck it's already begun). Let's pray there will be some shift in SA Politics over the next few years.

Ok nimrod, so I guess you think it's OK for a sitting member of congress to call for a boycott of an AMERICAN business, one that employees people (even in his district). As an advocacy group the AFA or whomever can boycott whomever they wish, it's their right as much as it's the right of Code Pink or some other nutty group, but for a congressman to assail a business and ask for a boycott, that's just plain wrong and let's hope some of his constituents see this as well.
Dude there has been income disparities forever, it's just that this is the first US President to magnify it and use it to promote policy .... Smell like Venezuela?
The weather has sucked all week here in Austin, so for that kind of turnout on short notice - kudos to them! I thought there was an awful smell of BS emanating from the LBJ Library on Tuesday, the protests did get a little play here in the local media (which in uber liberal Austin) is not bad! I'm hoping Holder didn't support the local economy and left immediately!
I work at a Lowes store and we've already had some yutzes come in, tear up their credit card and leave, see ya on the other side and they were probably those PIA customers that couldn't get out of a paper sack using a box cutter...oops can I say that relative to Muslims! Anyhow thanks Mr. Congressman, I guess if enough boycott then I'll have to go out looking again, and it took me time to get this job albeit part time where hours have already been cut due to the economy, thanks much asshat!
I think you've hit the nail on the head - she's not covering for Obama, she's covering herself (as most of the others are as well). They know what an abject failure he is and need to cover so as to not look so stupid themselves.
I couldn't have told you what this doof was in so I had to hit IMDB to find out. Seems I haven't seen much of his stuff (at least recent) so I'm not worried about missing any of his other projects. They just love to think they're smarting than all of us.
