I totally agree with all the above posts! I am an animal owner including horses, donkeys, cats, dog and bird. They, except one, were from people who did not care for them, neglected them or overbred them. They eat first!! I have made the decision to take these animals in and they are MY responsibility. They are living beings. Thats right. Take away your meals Garrison. Starve and see how you like it. You do not deserve these awesome creatures and they surely do not deserve how they are being treated. And refuse assistance? Fence cut? Yeah they are looking for food you jerk. And the pasture is not going to get going. They have eaten it down to the roots lady. You do not deserve animals and should allow others to help you. You should be ashamed of yourself for sure but apparently you arent.
Spay and Neuter is the key. I have taken in many of the neighbors cats (with his permission of course) to be spayed and neutered at no cost to him. I believe being responsible is the key. All of my pets are spayed or neutered and I do not believe in breeding. Too many animals out there that need homes and are suffering due to the ignorance of humans that could make a big difference.
The business owner was being more than fair. Yes it is very sad that the gentleman died but the business owner did have to purchase food, spent time with the family on several occasions and should not be shunned because she just didn't eat the entire cost. She made a generous offer and should not be looked down upon. For those of you stating you would not eat there and it was despicable? Why don't you pay the business owner all of the money owed as you seem to think it is okay to give away money. I would like to see you feeling the same way if it was coming out of your business coffer.
"She never had a complaint"? Apparently she did not know enough to pass the boards so she just "practiced" and got it right from caring for patients illegally? Yah I wouldnt want you on my team as a caregiver with that attitude either. Procrastination? Get real.
