i have a sprint iphone 4s. i know that after 90 days sprint will unlock it for use on international gms carriers. i was just curious if this software unlock would allow my phone to be used on GMS carriers in the US. I don't care about using it on other CDMA carriers (that would require flashing the device). Mainly asking for resale value on the phone not so much cuz i want to use it on other carriers.

so if a cdma phone can not be unlocked except by it's original carrier there's no need for me to worry about my baseband right? also what prevents the device from being software unlocked? if sprint has the ability to unlock it why wouldn't a developer be able to find a way to do it?

ok thanks, but will this software unlock Musclenerd is working on allow it to work on US GSM carriers VS Sprint unlocking it only for international carriers

will a software unlock allow a CDMA iPhone 4S (sprint, verizon) to work on any GSM carrier? (att, tmobile, oversees) I know it lets a GSM phone work but not sure about the CDMA part. thanks

yeah AT&T does have 3G in my area i was just on T-Mobile cuz they are cheaper

well i'm paying for full internet (4G package) i'm just stuck on edge cuz of the iphone. i switch back and forth from an iphone 4 to a nexus s.

Ok so when the deals done, the iPhone still won't work on T-Mobiles 3G but if I'm using an unlocked iPhone on T-Mobile (currently stuck on edge) will I then be able to get 3G service via AT&T's service?
