No, don't think you're mad because you love trees. I do too, and when I was trying to sellmy house the one thing that made me sad was that I would lose the glorious view of the woodland that backs onto our garden. I just love sitting on my bed watching the trees. I know, I need a hobby.
Oh, I'm still hanging onto anything that means my girls still need me - they're 13 and 10 now, and everyday they need me a little bit less. Only the dog seems to need me around nowadays. And she doesn't answer back either.
I thought it was just me who hadn't been tagged...sob...
Love your photos though, the bottom one is gorgeous.
When The Teenager was a baby she slept very little. I used to wonder how other news mums got their housework done, had showers, etc and they would say "just do it when she's asleep during the day". Oh yes, you mean the 20 minutes nap she has? She has never, ever needed a lot of sleep and I admit that I struggled with it for the first few years - I was just exhausted! She would be wide awake every morning at about 5am and there was no way she was going back to sleep. She's now 13 and is still the same, although she goes to bed late now rather than get up early. Sometimes I can hear her pottering around in her room when I'm in bed.
As you say, some children are just wired differently.
Btw, my second daughter slept like a dream from the day she was born and still needs a lot of sleep. She actually tells me if she needs to go to bed early.
We've got the same films to watch, so interesting to read your views. I thought G-Force was a bit of a let down, but Tall Daughter loved Tinkerbell. Have yet to watch Santa Buddies.
