Great article Greg. I agree, there are so many uses for these codes. I think though that they might be a stepping stone towards something else. But I think they'll be around for a while.

I've just installed intensedebate and I'm looking forward to all the benefits promised, now I'm just waiting for my existing comments to be imported. Before you got intensedebate installed, did you consider other similar services? Just curious.

I don't get what the problem is all about. Every other country is zealous about their immigration policy. Why can't we do the same. If the police can't check on immigration status... then who can? As a naturalized citizen I find it offensive and demeaning to allow illegal immigration to run rampant. Something needs to change!
