The KCRG Intern should have asked what "mistreatment by administrators " consisted of. If they didn't provide sharp pencils, thats one thing, but if they were calling her names, being mean, demeaning, etc. it could be a real problem... But getting to the real story is above the intern's capability, so we will probably never know. Nice catchy headline though...
Don't people think before they act anymore. It's just not this guy, but people seem to react, do something stupid, then get in trouble. Do they think they aren't responsible for their actions anymore? It's like they are thinking, "I'm wronged, and what ever I do to because of it is right because my feeling are hurt".
We are competing against companies all over the world, so any taxes the USA adds makes us less competitive which makes for less jobs. Go compete against manufacturing in China, we lose... Higher taxes on corporations just make it harder to be competitive.
Iowa could adjust the percentage yearly
When prices went up under Bush, the Demo's were quick to blame him, but now when they go up under Obama, they are strangely silent...
Probably need a local option sales tax to pay for this...
He's not even out of office yet! Seems like a major conflict of interest here....
The whole Iowa Tax form is a nightmare.. They need to get rid of ALL tax breaks, exemptions, etc. They could probably get rid of most of the Iowa Revenue Dept. if the Iowa Tax was a simple percentage of the Federal tax.
So what does a "national hub for public policy discussion" do? Isn't that what Washington DC is?
