Indioviejo, you are so correct, we have reached an extremely critical point and a wrong move could be our undoing. There are many Republicans that are also progressive, too many are in it for power and status, we need to be as diligent as possible in vetting these candidates. Some of the unknowns are just as scary. It is now up to us as individuals, we've been spoon fed a bunch of bs for too long. It is no longer time to blindly believe what we are being told. I pray that the Constitution will prevail, and that those who are elected will not sell their souls. We must use the internet while we still have it, to find as much fact as we can.

Yes, a person does have a right to privacy, in an emergency there are so many variables in treatment of the patient.
The emergency could have been any number of things e.g. heatstroke, heart attack, stroke, cuts, bleeding and the list goes on. In many of those situations clothing must be removed from the victim for treatment, defibrillators being the first that comes to mind. EMS personnel are required by law to maintain the victim's privacy. HIPAA Privacy Law. Anyone in the field of Law Enforcement, Firefighting, First Responders, and EMS can attest to that.

Happy to see as of late that many are waking from the coma, what most of us already know is finally starting to see the light of day. Still a long way to go, pray for this country.

The only thing wrong with the first paragraph could possibly be that I said there were gray areas. The rest was taken directly from: http://www.hhs.gov/ocr/privacy/. As one who has direct involvement with ems services my statement comes from that knowledge.

There are a lot of gray areas in this situation. The injured person has a right to privacy. The HIPAA Privacy Rule provides federal protections for personal health information held by covered entities and gives patients an array of rights with respect to that information. At the same time, the Privacy Rule is balanced so that it permits the disclosure of personal health information needed for patient care and other important purposes.

The woman had no right to know what the emergency was. There could have been any number of scenarios for the patient in the ambulance. The EMS personnel may have to undress a patient for treatment, etc., whatever the case she has no right to any answers from the people involved in the emergency, they are not allowed by law to discuss any patient's condition.

However, once she moved farther away and stopped asking questions the police officer did push the issue, but she was also making a scene. Just because we are on public property and have rights as Americans it does not supersede the rights of those involved in an emergency situation. Would anyone disregard a police officer at the scene of an accident or a fire? Common sense should always lead.

The woman was antagonizing and looking for an argument. The entire situation should have been a non issue and it's not even worthy of a headline. I'm certain there is substantial amount of information being hidden from the American people regarding the disastrous effects of the oil spill, and the press should be out there in droves, but this was not the time or the place to address that issue.

Excellent article Mr. Marcus, as stated before, thank you for the truth. I've already sent it on to as many as I think will read it on my email list. I'm sure many people delete my emails, but if just one seed gets planted to someone else, it will be all worth it.

Unfortunately, the progressive left are too embedded with academia. Our children have been indoctrinated, and are being used against us to create this Utopian society that anyone with any common sense realizes is an impossibility.

What we must do is keep spreading the word, and the facts of history, vote them out in November, stand united for our liberty, and pray on our knees that what we say and do takes root enough to save our country.

This administration is an embarrassment to the United States of America. They are like school children. They have cheapened the Office of the POTUS. This administration is petty and they have no respect for the people or the Office.
