When the Marine barracks were bombed in Lebanon, an area we had no business being in other than doing Israel's bidding as usual, Reagan had the strength to recognize the mistake of being there and WITHDREW.

Santorum is a nutjob who wants to start more wars for Israel. He should be in jail for treason.

Then he would be acting lawlessly. Iran has a RIGHT to develop nuclear energy since they signed the NNPT. Santorum needs to make this declaration to Israel who has NOT signed the NNPT (not that they can sign anything binding because they are technically not a nation), stole their nuclear material and tech from the US and REFUSES inspections (Iran has complied with inspections.)

If we have to defend allies then they aren't allies - they are charity cases. And in the case of Israel, they are charity cases several times over. We fight their wars for them AND give them tons of money.

No, she has a right to shoot anyone, INCLUDING POLICE, and anywhere. The right to self-defense is not limited to your house - this is more nitwittery. It is just becomes more or less difficult to make the case it was self-defense in a court of law.

That's what I thought. This is a very bad idea. You talking on the phone asking such things doesn't indicate you fear for your life. They won't prosecute but this is a bad step to take. It is like "warning shots."

"Victimless crime"--yeah, right. Tell that to the families of loved ones lured to their ruin by the siren call of drugs.

Same for alcohol - why don't they make that illegal?

Actually, I hear what you are saying. If it was done RIGHT society would benefit from all these being illegal along with other vices.

One major obstacle is that our corrupt government profits from the illegal drug trade INCLUDING importing the drugs. They want the malady to go on - they have no real interest in actually stopping the destruction.

You have to be smart to get what you want.

Rush said the way to get money out of politics is not to put up more laws against it but actually FEWER laws in general so there is no interest in bribing politicians.

I can see an analogy with drugs.

The MSM is pro-war. They are owned by corporations that profit from war. Ever hear of GE????
