I don't understand what any of this has to do with racism. If you're in the US legally, fine. If you're not in the US legally, you're an illegal alien. Has nothing to do with race.

The terms of mortgages are laid out in their agreements. If you fail to meet them, the bank is under no obligation to do anything for you. You're either late on your payments or you aren't. It doesn't matter if you've had generations of your family living there. You don't get to have something for nothing.

I'm actually more PO'd that I've paid my mortgages on time since day one and can't refi nor take advantage of loan modifications because of LTV. Where's my "loan modification"?

Where was god when the accident happened in the first place? Too quick to give "god" credit for all the good and none of the bad. Kudos to the real heroes - the bystanders. They get all the credit. God had nothing to do with it.

In terms of consistency and interpretation of said verse, you also should agree that smoking cigarettes to get high (which is why they do it) is also something that shouldn't happen. Agreed?

A relationship with anything that's all consuming isn't healthy no matter what the intoxicant, be it cigarettes, alcohol, or pot. Alcohol and cigarettes are *ALREADY* in the hands of the government, so that's kind of an empty argument.

Uhm, no. If I have an industrial job, like crane operator, truck driver, or anything else where my work cannot be impared, I will be fired. It doesn't matter if I have a prescription or not. The point is intoxication is intoxication.
