Look up the term "family annihilator." they actually refer to it as a syndrome these days, that is on the rise. Scary stuff.

So true. Mystepsons were being physically abused by mommy dearest and daddy du jour. MAJOR physical abuse, in front of the whole entire neghborhood and many of their friends, including my two daughters. The state of WA actually came back with a finding of abuse, but when I asked what the plan from there was, I was told there was no plan, to speak of. Daddy du jour was put on notice and had to take some anger management classes. The boys 14, 15 and 16, ought to be able to defend themselves and were advised to do so. . . I kid you not.

Thanks caphillkid. It is quite serious. I'm raising her first child. And she just walked away from two more, in Montana, one of the meth capitols of the world it seems. I live each day since she's disappeared this time wondering if I'll get the "we found your daughter's body. . ." call, or that she'll show up at the door with a butcher knife here.This stuff is horrible. It is the poor man's cocaine with a little LSD kicker thrown in for grins. If you have a person, my daughter, who has already had some serious anger problems and emotional and mental illness, it can be deadly, and not just for her. If you watch that American Meth movie and see towards the end where they are filming a family with small children, that is the life my grandsons were just living, only the oldest is only two. Milling around, pillaging for food where ever he could get it, and eight month old who doesn't communicate, crawl or sit up on his own. If she was just hurting herself, I think I could deal with it more easily, but she has no idea as to the number of lives she is impacting besides her own. I almost hope that if she cannot remain intact, like your friend, that I do get that call, or that she does something that draws enough attention to herself to get locked up. . . Anyway, thanks again caphillkid. You're alright, I don't care what they say about you. . . : )

I gotta wonder what a tox screen will show. I have a daughter who is nutso like this and it's due to methamphetamine. Not knowing much about the stuff, I've been researching it. There's a movie out called "American Meth." You can watch it through Netflix. It's really provoked some thoughts in myself as to why there is such a burst of violent crime going on. . . Just gotta wonder.

Discipline means NOTHING to many of these young people these days. I have four children. All were disciplined in the same way. Three are good citzens. One is totally out of control, violent, and one of my biggest nightmares is that something like this is going to happen to me. So angry. So out of control. Throw in this whole gangsta wnanabe thing, and maybe a little meth or coke. . . My daughter was disciplined, alot and appropraitely. She chose a different path. She's had several assault convictions and has abanadoned three children. And I can tell you, she was NOT raised that way. I don't know if that's the case with this mom, but I can tell you this too, I've stopped making snap judgements on other peoples' parenting. I know how I raised my daughter.

If you completely read the particle and between some of the lines, she obviously had some kind of a scam going, multiple times, where she gained some kind of care, custody and control over SSI recipients. Maybe not as alternate payee, but as a rep of some kind. I'm speculating, based on my own experience with SSI and also working in the legal field representing SSI recipients. She somehow became a care provider for these men which gave her access to their funds via mail. There is something that had given her the ability to get at these checks and know when they were going to these men. Maybe she wasn't his rep payee, but she did have some kind of tentacles into their accounts.
