I can see it now. A conspiracy of Big Lightbulb to stamp out CFLs. Hired thugs purposely break CFLs in public places causing mercury poisoning panic. A whisleblower is murdered and again Jack McCoy comes to the rescue convicting the whole lot of them and eliminating the incandescent light bulb threat forever. Seems plausible since GE is pushing these pieces of junk on us because they have a much higher profit margin than the commidity incandescents. Where's Fred when you need him to ride herd on McCoy.
