My grandaughter is having to go through her English class with writers like Thoreau and she flat rejects their thoughts. I am glad she has enough sense to see through his garbage and the other writers of his time.

Presidential Executive orders were not meant to destroy our National heritage and laws that protect us. The president's first job is to protect our Nation; not to destory it as he is doing. I doubt that our forefathers ever thought that we would have a "leader" who would turn against our nation in such a powerful way. We the People let it happen and now we are suffering for it. We the people can also change the trend if enough people are willing to turn back to God, learn His ways and apply them to their lives so that God can heal our land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by MY name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face (learn His ways), and turn from their wicked ways (rejection of His Word); then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Politicians and people who try to use the Bible to prove their anti-biblical ideas should keep their mouth shut because it makes them look very foolish. Actually, that is probably fine since more people will realize they are as rediculous as they sound and look.

John's evil side is just trying to irritate Christian conservatives because he sure is irritating me with this type of nonsense. Yes, we are to take care of our planet and not trash it but this global warming crap is being carried way too far. There is nothing man can do about it. The Lord warned us this would happen more and more as we get closer to His return. We don't know when the rapture will take place but we do know what we should be doing in the meantime: 2 Pet 3:8
