Ditto re: Clips response! Change the channel - watch something you do enjoy!

So are you saying that any fool (or Fool15) could produce a better lineup!? :) I'm guessing that unless FN is hiring, our best hope is that Bob actually reads some of the comments to his blog and acts on them. From some that I've read, we're not lone rangers.

It's kinda of sad that some people spend so much precious time and effort attacking certain show hosts. If I don't enjoy a show or a host, I simply watch something else. Just imagine how much more positive and pleasant our world could be if those who spend time spewing vitriolic commentary would concentrate on someone/something they like.

The Next Food Network Star 's new show should be aired on prime time!! With all the excitement associated with the selection of the next Food Network Star, why doesn't the network capitalize on that excitement and slot the new show in a prime time slot? 12:30 pm EDT on a Sunday doesn't demonstrate much confidence in the new show from the network. On Sunday, August 9th, FN scheduled a replay of The Next Food Network Star Finale at 7pm EDT followed by Food Network Challenge Big City Cakes at 8pm!!???!! Except for the contestants, who cares about Big City Cakes?!! What a lost opportunity! FN could have scheduled a replay of the finale followed by the new show - it's a no brainer! BTW, I agree w/ several of the other blog contributors - get rid of FN Challenge, Unwrapped, and Ace of Cakes and air some cooking shows at night. I'm sure there are tons or FN fans who want to see great cooking shows but who can't watch tv during the day. I'd love to see shows like Ten Dollar Dinners with Melissa d'Arabian, Barefoot Contessa, Grill It! with Bobby Flay, Giada at Home, Simply Delicioso with Ingrid Hoffmann, Paula's Home Cooking and Cooking for Real in the evenings - it might even inspire tomorrow night's dinner!
