Oh for crying out loud. This is almost, ALMOST as silly as those pictures on Newt on TV with the heroic postures...holding out one hand like he is stopping evil or something, Before the Florida debate they ran a series of 5 or 6 of them and --- may I die if I'm lying --- I thought they were mocking him, somebody like the tonight show or the Daily show. Newt as "Terminator Three -- the Law Giver" or --well at least they didn't strip him to the waist and make it look like DUNE. Only that could have been more ridiculous. Now he has "fallen short of the Glory of G-d"?? As if - what? All HUMANS have been surpassed of course. However, by the slimmest of margins the Newtster has failed to equal the Almighty. Did the Greeks have a God of Pomposity??? I can suggest a model.
Chavez has had many many positive things to say about Obama. Most important is his call for Obama to declare himself "President For Life" because then Cuba and Venezuela and Russia and China could depend on this country PERMANENTLY. Notice that President Obama DID NOT REJECT THIS IDEA.
This is absolutely BRILLIANT. If people doubt the "full faith and credit" of the Greek government then by all means GIVE THEM SOMETHING SUBSTANTIAL. Very smart, men. Very smart. AND I am by no means easy to please, just check my blog of the same name.

Anyway, since when did Newt "win" any of the debates?? He sat there silently being ignored because he was polling at 3 or 4 percent and then toward the end he made some comment like "Can't we all just get along?" "Any of us would be better than President Obama" That's some kind of tremendously incisive and brilliant performance?? Then vote for Rodney King !. What we KNOW about Newt is that he is a total and complete egomaniac. That and he always blows up. He was kicked out as speaker and every person that worked with him back then will tell you that he is NOT somebody that should be President. Not one or two of them. Not half of them. Virtually EVERY ONE of them. Oh he's not a loose cannon anymore, He's CHANGED. Right. THINK. He got ahead in the polls for the first time and what did he do?? He announced that the campaign is over. "I AM NOW THE NOMINEE".
Where is this INSANITY COMING FROM??? Oh he's so smart. He's the smartest guy on the stage. BULL POOP. He is a HISTORY PROF. Think. Was HISTORY where the geniuses majored at YOUR college? Do you?? Hint: He graduated from Annapolis with honors and a degree in Nuclear Engineering. THAT'S where the "geniuses" went when they got out of your high school. Remember?? The Presidential Debates are NOT an essay writing contest where the contestants get to pick their own subjects. They have to answer questions from......JIm Lehrer. Remember?? They are going to be similar left wing moderators AGAIN and they will tend to play to Obama's strengths.

People nowadays don't have much experience in the real world and have NO experience in the old world of a hundred or more years ago when many "expressions" were created. .. "Rats leave a sinking ship" was not a comment on the moral turpitude of rats. Rats live in the bottom of the boat, down in the lowest reaches, the bilges and under the flooring in the stores area. Those areas are the FIRST TO FILL WITH WATER WHEN THE BOAT SPRINGS A LEAK and so if you looked out and saw all of your rats pouring out the sides and swimming like hell towards shore or the other boats in the fleet where they try to scamper up the ropes, nets, and anchor chains...... YOU F***ing boat is about to sink. The RATS aren't bad folk, they just KNOW MORE WHATS GOING ON. So when people at a Whitehouse -- when the chef is casting about for a restaurant and sending resumes????? He knows something you don't.
